FAQ

What is your turnaround time?

Turnaround time is typically up to 3 weeks for sessions. You will receive a small preview album within 3 days of your session, though!

What if I don't know how to pose?

Don't worry! I will help guide you throughout the entire session. I'll tell you where to put your hands, where to look, and how to position your legs for those posed photos and then give you the perfect prompts for those candid/carefree photos. :)

Are there are any places you don't shoot at?

While I am flexible with locations, there are a few that I do not shoot at. I do not do sessions in Downtown Columbia (due to safety issues in the past), private property that we do not have permission to go to, and locations further than 60 miles from Linn (unless we add on a gas fee!). I also do not do shoots at night.

How are the images delivered?

You will receive a downloadable link that is active for a full year. This has all the edited images on it. You can download them and purchase prints on your own, or through my store.

How do I book?

Head to either my Seniors page or my Families page, and fill out the inquiry form. Once I receive that, I'll reach out and we will decide on a date and time. You'll then pay a deposit and sign a contract. Your remaining amount is then due the day before your session.

Does the drive time between locations come off of our total time?

Yes! If you choose 2 locations that are 15 minutes apart, that 15 minutes comes off of your total time. I recommend locations that are fairly close if you have the smaller package so you aren't spending all of your time driving!

Do you provide a location?

If you have a specific location in mind-let's go! You aren't sure where you want to take your photos? I have LOTS of locations that I love shooting at. If you don't have one in mind, you can look through my Welcome Guide and choose a location or 2 that you love.

Can I receive the unedited images?

Editing is a BIG part of my creative process. Unedited images do not reflect my work as a photographer, so I do not give any out. This also means that I do not edit in different styles. If you aren't a fan of the way I edit my images, we may not be the best fit, which is totally fine! You want to be sure to find a photographer that matches the photography AND editing style that you're looking for.

Where do you recommend printing the images?

My number one recommendation is always Mpix. It is the company I use through my store that you can purchase from. The quality is awesome, delivery is very fast, and the coloring is the most accurate. PLEASE don't use walmart, walgreens, or shutterfly. They alter the colors and quality significantly, making the images look bad. (like, REALLY bad)
